Jacquelyn Priskorn has been writing plays since she took her first class with playwright Kitty Dubin in 1997. She is now a member of the Dramatists Guild and has had several plays and screenplays produced since that first class, including the award winning short film The Guest Room (shown at the Strasbourg Film Festival in France) as well as a screenplay, Love & Plutonium, which is currently available on Amazon Prime. Her play Love Shackles was published in Quick & Painless: Saturday Night Lites 2004-2005 Season distributed by Original Works. Glass Slipper, Size 8 ½, The Rot, The Reckless Romantic and Off Center are currently available through Brooklyn Publishing. Ida Invisible is available through Next Stage Press. Barn Wood and Blue Roses(one act version) is available through Stage Partners. Her short play Off Center won “Best Play” at the Oakland University Actor Showcase. And Good Morning, Miriam has received the “Jury’s Choice Award” at the Detroit Fringe Forward Festival, “Best New Play” from New Plays From the Heartland, and The Chameleon Theatre Circle’s 17th annual one act play contest.

As an actress, Ms. Priskorn began writing, mostly to create more roles and audition material for herself and women like her.

With that information, Devon creates a fantasy world for the two of them to live in as L'Sea, a woman who becomes a dragon twice a day and D'Nova, renowned artisan of comical barn wood signs and a magician's apprentice. But Devon has a secret, too. And it is about to bring their whole fantasy world crashing down around them.

Jordan has a bad cold when the messenger angel, Andela arrives to tell her she is carrying more than just a virus. She is also carrying a divine child! Jordan now has to explain this surprise pregnancy to her wife, with Andela hoping to spread the "good word" through the writings of sci-fi author, Scott English. This "miracle" will test two marriages, the institution of organized religion and an angel's desire to be divine or stay grounded on Earth.

There she meets a half human, half demon shopkeeper named Flurk, a wood troll named Ramiform and a Bedbrung named Brob. Olivia must find her way out of The Darkness before it completely engulfs her. Hopefully a little shopping will help?

They are desperate for human attention, but none of their antics seem to work. Then El, enters their basement room. El is in a dark place, literally and emotionally. Can the demons use El's massive grief to capture El's attention and grow in power?

Helena is not impressed with Margie's carelessness with the lives of the littlest creatures on Earth and thinks Margie has a lot of sins to atone for before "moving on."

Adam’s Angels

God has tasked the angels to come up with a companion for his new creation "man." Hoping for a promotion to a "leadership position," Lucy volunteers to be Adam's first companion. She soon learns that this job is a lot more work than she could handle, and is fired. When Eve takes over, Lucy will do anything to sabotage the whole "Project Earth."

Good Morning, Miriam

Miriam holds the key to her memories. It's just getting harder to keep track of it, what with the battle she has every day with her own daughter...and her own mind. The same morning for Miriam is repeated as a "bad day" and a "good day" with her memory. It's easy to forget, but it's harder when you know how much you've forgotten.
